The Bolts traveled to KC for a first time match up with coach Northern Nation. The Chargers open the game with a 3 and out - a situation that would repeat itself for most of the remainder of the game as the Chiefs defense clamped down on the Chargers.

&quot;Anytime Melvin get's held to less than 50 yards, we have a problem&quot; commented coach Kane - Melvin Gordon finished the game with 19 carries and 25 yards on the ground and also contributed 22 receiving yards on 2 catches.

The highlight for the Chargers was their RedZone defensive play. &quot;We could't do much to keep them out of the RZ, but the boys really stepped up when it counted&quot; commented Joey Bosa. The Chargers were able to hold the hometown Chiefs to two field goals - they also produced 3 interceptions preventing the Chiefs from scoring with 2 endzone picks. &quot;The Dline was a big help&quot; said Perryman, &quot;they put a lot of pressure on the QB and forced some throws that went our way&quot;.

With an overall lethargic, the defense has kept the Bolts alive - enough today to finally allow the 4th Q TD for the win. &quot;We're headed back east next week to see the Eagles, Heat always gives us fits&quot; said Kane, &quot;that means we'll be in the film room and practice field a ton this week&quot;.

Leonard Fournette carried the Jaguars on his back with 25 carries for 158 yards and a TD to a 20-19 victory.

Bortles squandered almost every opportunity the defense gave him and tossed 4 ints.

The best corner tandem in the league went to work again and limited the dynamic DeAndre Hopkins to 2 catches for 64 yards.

Yannick Ngakoue stepped up the pass rush and got home 2 times.

A STOUT Jags front 7 showed up tonight and only allowed 16 total yards on the ground, forcing the Texans to look to the passint attack for any production.

The Eagles went into the BlackHole last night and were almost shut out. Coach Heat knows Zulu and vice
versa. This was a tough one because Zulu had the perfect game plan, and that was to keep the ball out of
of the Eagles hands and chew up clock. The Raiders took the opening drive down for a td and damn near took up 7mins of clock 1st qtr Raiders 7-0. Heat and his Birds managed to get on the boards in the 2nd qrt with an
Elliott fg score 7 - 3 Raiders. The Raiders would score in the late in the the 3rd qtr from a Wentz int that put them in great field position Raiders 14 Eagles 3. And in the 4th qtr things just fell apart for Heats Birds. The
28-3 score is deceptive to tough this game was. Coach Heat said he takes full blame because we prepared but
he didn't put his people in the right positions to win the game. We'll shrug this one off look at film and prepare
for another coach i know very well in Kandykane Nupe and his Chargers. They have to fly cross country this
time. It should be a goodie
