The Cardinals hosted the Raiders in the wildcard game on Tuesday. This was a heartbreaker said
Coach Heat , to have a good season 8-2 and to drop the 1st game in the playoffs to a HAIL MARY PASS stung. The game started out with the Raiders receiving and taking their first drive down to the redzone but could only manage a fg and they went up 3-0. Palmer had his struggles with making the right reads tonight throwing a total of 4 picks. The Cardinals took their opening drive down in Raiders territory but Palmer threw a pick which stopped a good drive. The Raiders got the ball back but went 3 and out . The Cardinals came back with another drive that came down to a 3rd and 5 and the first read was underneath but Carson saw JJ streaking and behind the corner so he took a shot and JJ pulled in a 53 yd pas for a td Cards go up 7-3. The Raiders next drive stalled and the Cardinals got it back but could only manage a fg in their next drive to go up 10-3. The Raiders would come back with a Jano fg to make it 10-6. The Cardinals struck again when Carson found J Brown On a flag route, he split the defenders leaped up grabbed the ball came down and took it to the house Cardinals go up 17- 6. The Raiders finally scored on an arrant throw by Palmer and the Raiders get a pick 6 now the score is 17- 13. The Cardinals got back down the field but Catanzaro missed a 41 yd fg attempt. Both defenses battled until there was 1 minute left on the clock and here's how it ended.
The Cardinals could have sealed the deal with a 4 and 1 at the 44 yd line, Coach Heat went for it and got stuffed. Raiders ball with 53 seconds remaining. On their first play they tried an out play that didn't work. On the next play Carr decided to throw up a prayer to Amari Cooper and yes he came down with it in the endzone to put the Raiders up 20 - 17 and you could hear a pin drop in Phoenix Stadium and the look on everybody's face, SHOCK yes the Raiders have just upset the Cardinals. Coach Heat said yes it was a disappointing loss but it couldn't go to a better Coach my best friend Coach Nupe. Good luck and I hope you can get to the Bowl.

The Cardinals hosted the Patriots tonight and had a rough start but made it exciting at the end only to come up 2 pts short. Coach Relentless and his Pats jumped all over Heats Cards early. The Pats received and marched down the field to 24 yd line but couldn't get it in and lined up for a fg, with 4th a 5yd. A stupid mental error on the defense being to aggressive jumped offsides and gave the Pats a 1st down. The Brady found Hogan in the endzone on a slant for a td Pats go up 7-0. The Cards got shut down in the 1st qtr including an int from Palmer.
Now we go to the 2nd qtr the Pats kicker Gostkowski kicked a 46 yd fg Pats 10-0. The Cards still couldn't manage to get anything going. The Pats came right back and scored again on a Brady to Gronk , Pats now take a commanding 17-0 lead. The Cardinals finally got it going on a Palmer to JJ Nelson 79 yd td , Pats 17- 7. That wouldn't last as the Pats kicker kicked another fg after a long run by Blount Pats go up 20-7 at the half. In the 3rd qtr the Cardinals would strike quickly Palmer to J Brown for an 83 yd strike Pats 20 Cards 14. Here comes that Pats kicker again , this time a 44 yd fg Pats 23 Cards 14. It didn't last long because David Johnson finally found the endzone on a 53 yd toss play, Pats 23 Cards 21 and that's how the 3rd qtr ended. In 4th qtr
the Pats found the endzone on a Blount 16 yd td Pats go up 30 - 21. The Cards marched back down the field
and on a 4th and 1 at the 6 yd line as the Pats loaded the box Palmer called an audible for JJ Nelson to run a slant, touchdown Cards , Pats 30 Cards 28. We thought we had time said Coach Heat to get 1 more shot because we had 3 time outs left. But for some reason when we called 1 time out around 2:10 left to go Madden decides we want to challenge the play and takes another time our from us and the Pats ran out the clock. Great game Relentless. This was a tough pill to swallow said Coach Heat but it's not like we haven't been here before. We drop to 5-2 with 3 games left and we plan on winning out. I'm sure we may see those Patriots in the playoffs and we will be ready for them. As Heat entered the tunnel he looked back at the reporters and said no more questions.

The Cardinals and Coach Heat hosted the Bengals and good friend Bonly friday night. The Bengals received and went 3 and out. They punted to a very dangerous returner JJ Nelson and he did a little dancing and took it 77 yds to the house Cards went up 7-0. The Bengals got the ball back and went 3 and out again but this time they punted it out of bounds to keep it away from JJ. Palmer and the offense went to work , he found JJ for a 50 yd pass that took them down to the 7 yd line and David Johnson did the rest on a 7 yd td run Cards go up 14-0.
Bonly and his Bengals came back and got on the board on a Hill td run to make it 14-7. The Cardinals came right back . Palmer put together another drive for another David Johnson 5 yd td run Cards go up 21-7. Dalton and the Bengals kept fighting and Dalton found AJ Green on 35 yd pass that got them down to 9 and Hill scored again to make it Cards 21 Bengals 14 at the end of the half. In the 3rd there wasn't much scoring , the Bengals managed a 40 fg to get closer 21-17. And there would be no more scoring in this one it was all about defense and the No Fly Zone stepped up at the end as the Bengals were driving Buccanon picked off Dalton to seal the deal and get the win. Cardinals host the Patriots and their new coach Relentless next week.

GG Bonly good luck the rest of the way

The Cardinals came out in their home opener a little flat but got it rolling. The Raiders took their opening drive down the field and scored but missed the xp to go up 6-0. OG Heats Cards came back with a fg to make it 6-3.
The Raiders went 3 and out and Palmer went to work and found JJ Nelson for a 56 yd gain and J Brown finished it off with a 10 yd td Cards go up 10-6. The Raiders couldn't do much on offense and the No Fly Zone shut down the pass. The Cardinals would start putting up scores as Palmer connected with JBrown for a 63 yd td and the Cards went up 14-6. D Johnson and the run game hurt the Raiders tonight as he gashed them for 148 yd rushing and a td and the Cards were in command 21-6. The Raiders would manage another score to make it 21-12 after a failed 2pt conversion try. Heats Cards added another td to make the final score 28-12 . Cards start out 1-0. Up next a tough Coach in FinsFan and his Dolphins.

GG Nupe good luck the rest of the way.

This game almost got away from the Cards early as Palmer threw 2 pick 6's and the Fins jumped out to an early 13-3 lead. Coach Heat said we were never worried because the Fins couldn't really move the ball all we had to do was settle down. And they did after Palmer found JJ Nelson on a 65 yd pass to make it 13-10. The a Catanzaro fg would tie it up 13-13. We both would score in the 3rd qtr and we still had a tie game. In the 4th the Cards blew it open. D Johnson would score on a 48 yd run and the Cards went up 27-20. Tannahill would throw another pick on a 4th down try but we could only get the ball out to the 2yd. The Fins would get a saftey to make is it 27-22. And on a 3rd down play Palmer saw that the Fins had loaded the box and were in an all out blitz. Palmer called a play action pass to JJ Nelson who was being pressed, touchdown Cardinals 34-22 OG Heats boys win another one and sit at 2-0.

GG Fins good luck the rest of the way
