After the rookie LVE delivered a big blow and boost to our confidence by blowing up the RB and causing a fumble... we quickly took that momentum and proceeded to throw the ball to anyone and everyone not in a Cowboys jersey. If not for the defense keeping the Lions out of the endzone and holding to 3 straight FGS this game would have been too lopsided to overcome. Nonetheless, the defense carried us long enough for Zeke to get open over the top for a long TD bringing us within 2 going into the 4th qtr. Detroit would extend the lead after yet another turnover by Dak but again was held to a FG putting them up only 12-7. Zeke would again punch another score in on the ground, and we added another late 55 yard fg to push our lead to 4 points with less than 2 min remaining. Our last possession forced Shadez to use all of his time outs also, which allowed us to be conservative on defense, ultimately coming away with a Byron Jones pic to seal the game with the Lions threatening in the red zone looking for a walk off win. Didn't happen this time, we need to clean a lot up with our passing game. Can not expect to win games turning the ball over so often.

Good Game Shadez, I know we meet again... looking forward to a cleaner game by both.

defense leads cowboys past peyton & the bronco
.....The Dallas Cowboys defense held Peyton Manning to 148yards passing, and intercepted him twice, in the Cowboys 20-10 victory on Saturday night. The Cowboys came within :48 seconds of not allowing a Touchdown, before Peyton recaptured his magic and took them 80 yards on 4 plays for the games final score. Orlando Scandrick and J.J. Wilcox each came up with crucial interceptions to bolster the Cowboys defensive effort.
Denver received to start the game, and quickly drove to the Dallas 42 yard line. But the Cowboys defense came up big. Stopping Denver on 2nd and then 3rddown and inches, forcing Denver to punt. When the Cowboys were pinned to their own 3 yard line for their first drive of the game, things looked bleak. But after Darren McFadden picked up 4 yards on first down, Tony Romo connected with Dez Bryant on a simple drag route. But after picking up the first down, Bryant broke a tackle and sprinted 93 yards for the touchdown, and a stunning 7-0 Cowboy lead.
From that point, the game became a defensive battle, with both Teams struggling to move the ball. But the Cowboys stuck with their game plan, and eventually Darren McFadden (23 att 8o yds 1 td) began to wear down the Denver defense, and the Cowboys were able to pull away.

Cowboys Throw A ShutOut Against Jets, 24-0

The Cowboys got back point as they beat the Jets 24-0. This game was all Dallas. The 1st play of the game, QB Romo threw a short mesh pass to WR Bryant. Bryant then turned it on and ran 88 yards for the TD. After that, it was still all Dallas as they scored two more TD's with one being a pick 6, to close out the 1st quarter being up 21-0. From there Coach IGOTAHOTWIFE became very conservative. He didn't want his team to make any mistakes especially on offense. The score remained 21-0 up until the 4th when Dallas Kicker Bailey kicked a FG to make it a 24-0 game which ended all hope for the Jets.

Cowboys Win at home!
We got another win! A 21 point second quarter propelled Dallas to a 15 point victory over the visiting Ravens. We were able to keep our turnover numbers low, while finally rushing for more than 100 yards this year. Our defense stood tall and picked Flacco 6 times this game.

Good team win, finally stayed patient.
