This was a pretty good game! Both our Defense played tough, but in the end the 49ers got it done. Picking off Kirk Cousins 7 times! Anyone should lose if you give the ball over that many times. The Vikings had a chance but to pull it out for sure, but the 49ers tight coverage caused the 7th turnover, which put the 49ers in the drivers seat to win.

Nickel living legend, LiRican named this The Ugly Bowl. Perhaps he heard my pre-game speech to the Purple People Eaters. "Men we have to leave it all on the field! We gotta muddy it up! Make it personal, put a chip on your shoulder." A very emotional Coach ELBuccs explained to a reporter as he walked to the locker room. Coach ELBuccs and his Vikings get their 1st playoff win by avenging their worst loss of the season when the Falcons bludgeoned the Vikings 33-6. It was a pushing match, tug of war for field position till Bradford threw a 2nd quarter pick 6. Down 7-0, The Vikings mustered every ounce of focus to make no more mistakes. They gained life as AP ran for a 63 yard TD right before halftime to tie it 7-7. Back to the tug of war which the Vikings won due to 3 4th quarter INTS resulting in two FGs to secure the 13-7 victory. Good Game and Congratulations on your season RollTide!

Vikings win another close one as they seem to always do with a stop then sustaining a drive. Clearly a game Sam Bradford would like to forget with 3 INTS one being in the red zone. However, it's a team game and his teammates, namely AP and the Purple People Eater D had his back. Down 7-3 late in the 3rd AP rambled for a 64 yard TD to put Minny up for good. Eventually both teams would get 4th quarter TDs to make it 17-14 Vikings. 3:18 to go Bradford forces a throw picked by Scandrick. Two plays later Dak returns the favor overthrowing Dez and Newman does an ODB one handed INT. Three 1st downs later Victory Formation. GG Noles

Vikings Defense gives up 194 on the ground but force 4 turnovers to secure a home win. Bradford was very efficient to start leading the Vikings to a 31-7 lead midway through the 3rd. Then it got dicey as Lamar Miller gashed the D for his 2nd TD run both being 78 yarders. By the mid 4th Houston got it to 31-20 and got an INT. They drove to the MIN 15 when Trae Waynes turned them back with a pick. Texans D held strong with a safety at the 2 minute warning to cut it to 31-22. After the free kick, Houston got two first downs. Then Harrison Smith stopped the bleeding Viking D with an INT with 47 seconds left.
Good Game Kane.

The Vikings come away with the win that was mostly decided over a 6 minute stretch. It all started with 1:25 left in the 1st half when Bortles threw his 1st of 3 straight INTs in that minute 25 seconds. Bradford struck twice after the INTs with TD passes 35 yards to Diggs and a 47 yards to Patterson. Vikings 14-0 at halftime. Jags take opening drive of 2nd half down to the Minny 8 but get stuffed on 4th and 1. However, as bad as the half ended for Jacksonville it started that bad for Minnesota. Four plays after the red zone stand, Bradford was strip sacked leading to a Jag TD, 14-7. Bradford threw an INT next drive that led to a Jag FG, 14-10 to end the third quarter. As has become habit, Bradford settled down and led a 5 minute drive for a 46 yard FG, Vikings up 17-10. Viking D drops the hammer and force a punt. Jacksonville had 3 timeouts and 3:20 left. Coach ELBuccs taps his left forearm calling for the closer. Bradford and AP convert 3 first downs culminating in a game sealing 43 yard FG with 16 seconds left, 20-10 final score. Good Game Coach DMC.
