Carr plays for texans
After starting off strong in the first drive down the field for a touchdown, raiders had trouble getting much of anything going. Defense was able to come away with 3 picks but wasn't able to turn any of them into points. Bengalsonly7 had a strong running game which put the raiders into some tough situations. Raiders defense was able to hold a few drives to only 3 points but with Carr throwing 5 interceptions it's hard to combat much of anything. Ross was able to return a kickoff for a touchdown and was hoping to bring some life back into the raiders. Turns out the Texans were just too much for the new coach of the Raiders.

All in all, good game bengalsonly7 and congrats on the win. Looking forward to future games.

Raiders Left some marks
Bengals come out strong in the 1st half going into halftime with a 14-0 lead. Tried to play it safe by running lots of zone with a blitz here and there which proved devastating in the first half. Going into second half gameplanwas to play more aggressive by sending in more blitz while trying not to get caught deep. Jdub was able to get off a few screen passes which went for some big yards.

After the bengals were able to take the score to 21-0, raiders were finally able to make a successful drive down the field for a touchdown. The kickoff after the score, the raiders were relentless on special teams and was able to deliver a hard hit message that they wanted back in the game and caused a fumble for a recovery. Score was now 21-14 late in the 3rd and we needed a stop badly to make it real intersting. 3rd and long for the bengals and raiders run a cover 2 man defense thinking Jdub was going to try another screen that he was successful in before. After being right about the screen, raiders defense delivers huge hit and forced another fumble. Raiders finally have the ball again and look to make it a tie game. 3rd and goal at the five and I try to throw a quick slant in the in zone and Jdub picks the ball once again. After Jdub makes the change from Bernard to Hill, he was able to get a good run game going forcing me to use time outs and closing the game 24-14.

Great and exciting game Jdub and look forward to a rematch!!

Raiders let it slip by...

Fumbles and dropped passes left coach Zuludude tossing perplexed. He tossed his headset and kicked the water boy as Oakland stinks up the home opener.

"We expect a higher standard in Oakland," Coach Zulu said. "You can't drop third down conversions and we certainly don't expect fumbles from the wide receiver position. We won't tolerate excuses from this team."

Carr was left carrying the team on his shoulders, but by the end of the game the Bengals held out long enough to earn a great win.
